christmas in chicago was brief, but it was nice to be there. in retrospect, i wish i had spent more time at home with the family. on the other had, i made the most of my time at home, and made sure i got to do everything and see everyone i wanted to, with the exception of fatass. i'm kinda mad at myself for trying to plan to see her on xmas day and then not being able to drag myself away from the cousins.
but it was good to be able to spent some quality time with the fam. and all 7 of us kids were there, which wasn't the case the past few years.
