Purse indecision

so, i choose to blame mrs spidey for this. i now frequently peruse etsy.com for handcrafted items that are cute, but so don't need. here's the latest dilemma, choosing between these 3 bags:

1) vinyl unicorn messenger -- gives me retro hipster street cred, not to mention satisfying my love of unicorns (remember the ceramic unicorn?)


2) rainbow brite -- my attempt to relive my childhood


3) daisy print - safe, but super cute


so i spent friday asking various friends their opinions. friday afternoon i had this instant message exchange with flippin kidding:

me (2:55 PM) - hey you know that daisy bag
me (2:55 PM) - do you think it looks like a diaper bag?
Flippin kidding (2:55 PM) - no why did you start wearing them
me (2:55 PM) - no
me (2:55 PM) - aundra didnt like that one
me (2:55 PM) - cos it reminded her of a diaper bag
Flippin kidding (2:56 PM) - good thing its not for her
me (2:56 PM) - but seriously
me (2:56 PM) - i dont want to look like i am carrying a diaper bag
me (2:56 PM) - people will think i have illegitimate children
me (2:56 PM) - which may be a reality in the next few years according to amy, but its not now
Flippin kidding (2:58 PM) - well you can just say its diapers for you
me (2:58 PM) - but i dont wear diapers
Flippin kidding (2:58 PM) - well thank God cause you wouldn't want to leave that on someones bathroom sink

something as innocuous as purse selection, and flippin kidding can still turn it around and remind me of an ill-advised chapter of my usually non existent sex life that took place over 3 years ago. thats what friends are for, right? sheesh.
